Privacy Policy

This page explains what Laymin collects when you use this site, why, and who we share it with. We keep it short on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email us at andrew@laymin.co and we'll explain in plain terms.

What we collect

We only collect what you give us directly, through a handful of places on the site:

  • Contact form: your name, business name, email, website, and message.
  • Get-started form: your email, website, platform choice, and an optional message.
  • The free scan: the URL you paste in. We send it to Google PageSpeed Insights to generate your scores.
  • The AI assistant, for signed-in customers: the messages you send it, which are processed by OpenAI or, when needed, Anthropic to generate a response. There is no assistant to message on the public site.
  • Standard server logs: our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps basic technical logs (like any web host does) to keep the site running and secure.

Every form on the site also has a hidden honeypot field used only to catch spam bots. It's not visible to real visitors, and we don't use it to collect anything about you.

How we use it

We use what you send us to answer your questions, run the free scan, and provide the AI assistant's answers. We also use your purchase to send you what you need to get started and keep the work moving. That's part of what you bought, not marketing. We don't add you to a marketing list or send you other email without your consent.

Who processes it

We're a small operation, so we rely on a few well-known services to run the site. Each only sees what it needs to do its job:

  • Vercel: hosts the site and handles standard server logs.
  • Google PageSpeed Insights: scores the URL you submit for a free scan.
  • OpenAI and Anthropic: power the AI assistant's answers. OpenAI is the primary provider; Anthropic may be used as a fallback.
  • Resend: delivers form submissions to us by email.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't run ad trackers on this site. No commitment. We never share your details.

How long we keep it

We keep what you send us only as long as we need it to respond to you or provide the service you asked for, not indefinitely.

Your choices

Want to see what we have on file, or have it deleted? Email andrew@laymin.co and we'll take care of it.

Cookies

We don't use tracking cookies, and we don't save your scan results in your browser. Each visit to the free scan starts fresh.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We'll keep it in plain English, same as now.
